A8 Turbines...comments plz

I'm looking to get 18" or 19" rims for the summer. I prefer to keep it OEM or have OEM reps as opposed to aftermarket.

Also, I don't want to get the same OEM wheels everyone has on their car, such as the RS4 wheel in gray or gunmetal.

I'm thinking about some A8 Turbines to put on my white a4.

Yea, I plan on matching my lowers to the rest of the car as well as lowering it a good amount.

Any other wheel recommendations? I just want a clean look to it.

I'm looking for 18" usp wheels for my spring/summer wheels, i'm selling the donz ones, I really like the usp wheels they are just clean and look good. And I'm gonna be DIYing my lowers soon anyway.

A8 Monos are cool. They are less sporty and more luxury imo. Stay 18 with them as they look huge anyway. I've seen 19s on a lowered A4 and it was just too much wheel for the car, simply didn't look right.

If you don't want B7 RS4 reps, look into RS4 DTM reps as well. They're like the USP wheels but without center caps.

Personally, I like the turbines, but they look a little "off" in 18's, I prefer them in a 19". And you have to be lowered quite a bit to complete the look.

If you're looking for a rep/OEM wheel, why not RS6 reps? They're one of the best looking Audi OEM wheels IMO:

Actually, the RS6 wheels totally slipped my mind. They are also clean. I definately agree that to pull off the look, the car needs to be a the perfect stance.

I like the USP wheels to, but like RS4 wheels alot of people run them. If I'm going to mod, my goal is to keep it OEMish, clean, and different.

In my mind, we all buy the car stock and they all look the same. Then we mod, but when everyone throws the same mods on, its just like having the same car when you first bought it. It doesn't set you apart from the rest.

yeah they do, its minor but you can tell. thr b5 rs4 dtm style are thicker like USPs though.

I have 18" A8's and I think their huge already..It depends on how much your car is dropped ..

and exactly what someone said above, it has a more luxurious look to it..so you gotta keep that theme all around the car!

and call it a day....

and that's it..I think I can pull off the luxury look with those mods

I love em'. And actually both of the wheels mentioned are nicknamed turbines, so everyone wins. The wheels capt. obvious showed are actually called alphards. And they are both hot on b6's.

Not my cup of tea, but to each their own. From what I understand, they are VERY heavy, though. They may look cool, but expect them to hurt your accelleration and handling over less than perfect surfaces.
