Thread: E-brake light.

    Ok ive noticed lately that when it very cold out 25deg or so while im driving and go around a right hand corner my brake light on the dash will buzz and blink a few times then go out. It doesn't do it all the time only on occasion i checked the fluid level and its fine. Ive yet to check for codes but wanted to post to see if anyone else had same issue and how did they resolve it.

    sounds like something is up with the brake system. are you sure its not low on brake fluid?

    i had a similar problem with my b6 long ago when the brake light would come on and flash for a little bit, then go away after a minute or two. topped off the brake fluid and all was well. this was around 85k or so miles on it. might be worth it to top off the brake fluid and go from there.

    had the same problem, didnt notice a pattern with the temperature tho....just top off your hydraulic fluid and it should stop.

    my light would come up every now and then. I checked the fluid but it was still full. Then I checked my pads and found that they were worn down to the sensor which is why my light was coming on.
