    Clear corner lense project

    Hey does anyone have both of the orange lense left over from their CC mod that i can borrow in NYC so i can make replicas in clear?? I searched the forum and i dont see anywhere of someone who actually sells them ,so I'm thinking of having someone make these for me. Any info is appreciated if someone sells them and i can just pay for a pair instead of making them.Thanx

    you should have a set number of clear lenses made if you can, lets say around 10 or so, and sell them on here. i know i'd wanna buy them

    I'm going to call the placee i delt with before ...ill definetly tell them to make 10 so i can accomidate some people on here. Let me place the call and ill let you guys know! thanks!
    How do they make them? ITs a small buisness out in australia that has the machinery to actually make them. they basically just pour in the material and refine the cuts of the lens to match.(thats why i need one of your lense. I'll let you know tomorrow

Let me work out the numbers and timing thats going to require for 10 sets and ill definetly get back to all you that want this!!! The same guy remade brand new lens for an ooooold car of my buddies which had no access to getting the lens and they came out perfect.safely!

    sooo i wanted to know if anyone has or knows where i can get the clear caps to replace the orange ones..

    Normally there's no cap to replace the orange one. That is the point of this thread; to make clear ones.

    yeah but i was just double checking since this was posted over a month ago..
    i dont really like the idea of my bulbs being seen..
    i would like an oem look ..

    buuttt....^ that sucks i guess..

    i would def be in for a set if enough

    The 2007-2008 European A4 models have clear lens caps. I'm pretty sure Jens (lowesta4) sold a few of them.

    I think I have seen people use B6 caps on the B7 headlights aswell....

    I took a set of Euro clear caps into a plastic manufacturer. They quoted $5-10K just to make the "tool" to copy the lenses I brought in. Producing each set was only a couple of bucks, but the total cost wasnt feasible for me to go ahead with.

    Check out http://www.eMachineShop.com. You can build a simple CAD file using their software, and they'll machine it. I haven't CC'd yet, but I'll take a look at seeing if I could model them when I do.
