time attack/matte black r8 reps

just put them on and took a quick pic.. will get daytime shots tomorrow.. they came out okay.. i was hoping it would show more but the line is very subtle.. the paint i used for the lip didn't stick as great as i thought it would even with the primer and all.. so i think once the red starts to chip more, i'll do them all black.. the black i used came out legit! its a low gloss black that has a flat black look with a matte clear on it.. it looks real nice in day/night!

He painted them himself. I do not beleive anybody has completely black reps since Alloy R Us rims only have a matte black backin the face is still silver.
Looks really great btw the r8 reps really show off your brakes nicely.

not to thread-jack and certainly not to compare my car to RAVI's because that is a beautiful ride... here are the RS8 reps with gloss black finish & machined face on my avant.

they're not the best pics, but you can see how the machined face looks... i really like the look of all black with red - especially on RAVI's car. i didn't think the red would look good with my ming blue, so the machined face was the best solution for me.
