    To sell or not...

that is the question. My car, 00 1.8t, quattro, 5spd, basically fully loaded (no elec.seats) and its about to hit 126k miles.... I bought the car March of 07' with 105k, almost 2yrs laters and 20k+ miles later, im wanting the car gone. Yet, there is some things that are making me want to sell
-ABS module, airbag light, control arms/tie rods, and now a weird sound coming from the engine when I gas it when its cold. Plus its an 00 and approaching 09...9yr car thats just raking up the miles.
The good...everything about the car not mentioned above. Its a very tech car for being almost 9yrs old, amazing interior, HIDs, etc. Yet, when I look around town, the B5 still > most cars on the road which is the main purpose of me still somewhat trying to hold on to it.
Before prices drop even lower and the car gets less worthy of the $, should I sell or mod it up...(by selling, I would pick up a B6 or TT 225, keep Audi of course )

with the way the economy is right now it would be stupid to sell it cause i guarantee you if you try and sell it all you are going to hear is, "well the kbb price is..." and if you have modded your car then it might be a little higher since if yours is a quattro the kbb is probably around 7 grand. if you do decide to sell it watch out for scammers they are everywhere

at least one of these threads a week lately.

do what you want to do, what does it matter what any of us say? Its hard as f^ck to sell a car right now good luck, make up your own mind. And unless your gonna be a sketchy seller and sell a car with problems you should fix that shit anyway.

Been trying to sell mine for months. 74k miles 01.5 with Full APR ECU avic-f90bt, m3 lip, cupra lip, in pro mirrors, sub&amp plus buncha other goodies for 11k and ppl still only offer 8k. Market is tough right now man. Its good for buying, not for selling.

ABS is a DIY project or about $140 - $200.
Air bag probably from a seat connector.
Control arms I just did mine a month ago. Nice write up on AW $500 and a days labor if you do it yourself.
The engine noise - it wants you to move somewhere warmer.
As far as selling the car I've listed mine a few times locally. 'bout 90k miles trans has only 20k miles (replaced under CPO) and very little interest in the car at any reasonable price. The market suck the money is gone and I want a B7 A4 but no one wants to buy a clean B5 locally.
Although the offers to ship it abroad for more money than I listed the car for are always there...
