    Anyone Try These?

Well, I just ordered some Pirelli Winter 240 Snowsports in 19". Had to make a quick decision since they are the only low profile snow tire I could find since snow in Chicago is owning my Nitto Invos at the moment. Anyone have any experience with these tires or any low profile winter tire?

    Re: Anyone Try These?

I ran those in 235/35/19 on my CK's for 2 winters... it wasn't bad.. except since I'm slammed even during the winter...their's little for them to "give" ...but i managed to get around in deep deep snow, nearly 30 cm of fresh unplowed snow, without any problem.. i must say they probably give a better ride, in my opinion, then my summer tires, since it was abit more meaty ...

as for my wheel protection ..i sold them this year in near perfect condition to a forum member locally, no bends or curb rashes..so they do offer good protection ..

but to be honest i'd probably never want to run 19's in the winter again, only reason I did was because of the BBK , seeing how I had to go 18 i might as well go 19s... but you know what I ended up putting the tires on my RGRs for this winter, we'll see how things work out

anyways best of luck to you in that
    Cheers!
    ~Ben
