Projects and Builds Sub-Forum?

So I was browsing through the B5/A4 section and noticed they finally got a Projects and Builds Sub-Forum, can we have a projects and builds sub-forum??

If the demand is there, sure. Unfortunately there's not a whole lot of crazy projects and builds going on in the A3/S3 scene. First up, we need to make one for the B5 S4/RS4 and B6 A4 guys...

Until we get a specific one for the A3/S3 Forum, why not use the AZ Member Auto-Bios Forum as that's pretty much been the purpose of that section when we first put it up long ago.

I think we will start seeing alot more A3 users, since there has already been a couple a3 AZ members of the month rides

Plus.... A3s are just badass!

I came from the B5 as well, and look at the B5 forums now, they are crazy busy, its like the new Civic of the Audi community lol (and I mean that in a good way?)

We are always on the lookout for new AZ'ers to feature. When the time comes we PM the user and ask if they're interested. We require they answer some questions and get us a high quality photoshoot that hasn't yet been posted publicly on the forums (IE: exclusive).

ramen talk, turkey iconsx2, terrible english, lolbump threads, and a seemingly pointless requirement to be cool and get your post count up by posting anything and everything pointless and irrelevant...tacky modding

anthonys kept this place clean...and i somewhat like this fourms refined community of members/owners. a little less popular and mainstream. not so newby

adding these things are totally cool/fine...but until it gets out of hand like that of a vortex, its not really needed
(reminds me of the times b6a4 got "chatterbox" due to all the bullshit/offtopic posts the tightnit community there inevitably posted on a regular basis)
threads like doublestuff are cool too...just keep it alive with progress

as for your build up/project forum...why not use the forum already created for such threads in the autobio section? (well kinda...i use it for such an avenue)

i agree. I've barely posted anything in the past couple weeks just because that forum was becoming a waste. I never posted much here cause it wasnt as popular and seemed some run-off from there, was posted here. The only reason I continue to post in there is because I have 5 pages of build-up, but now it seems its falling on deaf ears [eyes]. if you can pin-point what you are looking for in a search, there was some really good content in there, but in the last 6months, its just taken a turn for the worst and turned into a pointless chat board. I definitely find myself popping on AZ more often, because of it.

I'll have to check into the autobio thing on here and start a build-up. Shouldnt be too hard. If all else fails, I can start a build thread and carry over what I have on vortex to here.

yeah, i dont bump it to be mr. popular and keep it on top. I only post up when it needs updating / when i actually do something to it. Its not my own personal chat board, like some make it out to be. The alst time I updated my % was early november when i got it dropped. Should go upi before christmas once my wheels are done.

Yeah, kinda hard to get noticed if you don't post pics of the car. But, we are working on a way for AZ'ers to submit their vehicles for consideration.
