    Any recommendation on 3rd party extended warranty?

    My precious CPO warranty is up this month and since im thinking about keeping my car for another 2 more years, i thought i should get extended warranty. i know there are some 3rd party warranties out there. Does anyone have any idea which one has some good deal? I currently have 03 A4 with 87,000miles on it. thanks

    dont do it...
    i had that bullshit mothereffin crap on my jaguar... my trans went... ha... jaguar said 6 grand to do my trans.. and they said well. we can give you 2000 because this cottman transmission said they can fix it in 2... so either fix it in 2... or well give u a check for and get it fixed by jaguar.. and im like bullshit...

    so dont get it

    its better off fixing it yourself...

    ahh no way~ that sucks...i would hate to keep my A4 without warranty cuz i know it will have many problems.

    I just bought my A4 a few weeks ago, and the guy who had it before me bought a warrenty from "CARS." It's a company that specializes in 3rd party crap like that... I haven't transferred it over to my name, but I probably will. It'll cost me 100 bucks to transfer it, and if I need something, I'll just have to find out if they'll help me out or not. The guy whom I bought the car from said that CARS is a pretty good group... sooooo idk. I guess just do some research and see what you can find.

    No,
    they claim they pay for 100% or close to 100% of all coverage, and they dont' have a deductible or co-pay. That sounds too good to be true.

    But I have yet to find out.

    when i got my car i got an extended warranty through General Electric, haven't used it yet, but it covers almost everything except wearables like my poor clutch
