Some background. I brought the car 3 days ago, I have fitted a new drivers door window regulator and a new Ignition switch to start correcting some of the more common problems A4's can suffer. So the car has been great for the last few days, I fitted the new ignition switch yesterday and it was working great.

So I noticed the car was rough running on cold start up, it was missing heavily and I figured it might be leads or something and I would take a look on the weekend, well the car must have had different thoughts on that and wants me to check it out now

So can anyone help shed some light on what my problem might be?

Are we thinking vacuum? Or spark? Perhaps Fuel?
I think the rough running when cold is linked to today's problem, any thoughts are greatly appreciated.....
(p.s, great forum! I look forward to sharing my experiences here
