If I were to get a motor that has a blown headgasket(s?), what damage is likely forseeable? I would be installing new rods, replacing the crank and rod bearings, replacing all of the seals in the top and bottom end ( except for the actual valve seals), and putting new rings in anyways, but I'd rather not touch the valves. Is it unwise to not do something to the valves as well?
