CEL and Engine Shuddering

Hey everyone,
I recently have been experiencing some problems with my A4. I am chipped with GIAC and about 2 days ago my cel came on. While I drive the car if I give the car too much gas the car begins shuddering as though it were not receiving enough fuel. I look at my boost gauge and this shudder begins when I am holding any amount of boost. If I take the car past zero on my boost gauge, i.e. holding any amount of pressure the shuddering begins and my cel starts flashing. I just changed my pcv valve and my diverter valve so I don't think they are the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Check ur PCV valve open the hood and see if theres any oil on the cap or engine cover....that could be it i had the same syptoms

I just replaced the pcv valve. I thought that was the problem too. Thanks for the help though. Anyone else?

coil pack?

I didn't know that coil packs went bad on the b7's. How would I go about checking a coil pack. Do I just remove the coil pack and inspect it?

99% sure it's a coil pack, same exact thing happened to me... twice Is it still under warrenty? Just bring it to the dealer and they'll check the CEL and replace your coil packs for free. Or if you're worried you can just buy some and pop them on yourself, it's easy.

if it's 05, then it's prob the fuel pump........
