    Down-pipe for 3.0?

Hey guys... did some searching and couldn't really come across anything that wasn't horrifically expensive. I was wondering if anyone knows of a down-pipe for the 3.0's that is kind of cheap, or an alternative that I should consider. I was thinking of just taking the car into a local exhaust shop and asking them how much they would charge for a straight-through with a hole for the O2 sensor. What do you guys think? I am looking for a very slight increase in performance, but mostly sound. I will be adding mufflers in the close future as well, but I don't know which ones yet.

Might I ask what "piggy pipes" are? I'm guessing I'll just ask the shop to use the stock flanges, and make a straight pipe to take the place of the cat, correct? Is there much of an improvement by doing that, and what about sound difference?

**Edit: BTW, do you have pics of your intake runner and or headers??? I saw the pic you have of it, and would like to see some more if possible.**

Unless your running a PES the power gains are going to be minimal. Not worth the money on a N/A car, unless your doing it for sound.

I just didn't know what they were. I had never heard anything called that before.

yes, you smart. as far as sound, depends on what cat-back you have. IMO Milltek sounds the best. Gains are there. Try having a shop cut the pipe just below the cat and make a single pipe with new flange and bungs for O2 sensors and one bung for Wideband, spacers for your O2's would help to keep codes to a minimum.
