    Pulley upgrades?

    I need to do my timing belt in probably the next few months, while Im in there, are there any pullies worth upgrading?

    chipped 1.8t with a few goodies, plan on going 2871r in the future, if that makes a difference.

    power steering pump is a big power sucker at high rpms. other then that one ive heard mixed reviews on underdriving.

    ive heard mixed things about the under drive pulleys as well...i see ecs has a lightened crank pulley, not sure if anyone is running that.

    I'm runnin it and I cant tell much of a differenc. There are quite a few threads on it, you should search it. Theres even one thread on the vortex where a guy with a gti tested before and after with and ended up losing horse power. Some people say it screws the harmonic balance while others say they can feel a peppier engine.

    x3 on mixed reviews, I was looking into it also when it was time to change my timing belts, I decided that its not worth it, put your hard earned cash elsewhere. It probably works better in VWs but not in Audis.
