    Re: leaking coolant

search for "coolant flange" that is the most probable source, and is a PITA to replace but definitely a DIY and is cheap.

It's really quite hard to help you if you can't even tell us if the leak is in the front back, left, right, high, low...

So in the spirit of guessing with the limited info avaible, I'll say it's either the flange or you've cracked the head, or someone stole your radiator and you havent noticed yet because you haven't looked

    Re: leaking coolant

if its a 3.0 i'm dealing with a coolant leak at the nipple on the back of the left bank head that threads to the coolant pipe. guess its a common leak on the 3.0s

    Re: leaking coolant

most likely coolant flange or the connected temp sensor. look at the back of your engine down to the top of your transmission housing. see pink residue? it's from the coolant flange or sensor. if not, it's from somewhere else.

parts are cheap and it's only two bolts, but you will never find two harder bolts to get to. NOT a fun job but certainly manageable. I did mine last week in about 2.5 hours with a fairly leisurely pace. all said and done parts are around $40 for flange, sensor, o-ring and clip.

there is a DIY on here somewhere. search for "coolant flange".
    good luck.
