Ibis White vs Phantom Black

I'm probably going to pick up my B8 in February or March of 2009... right now I'm in a dilemma between Ibis White and Phantom Black.. between these two colors, which one do you think I should go for? Which one is hawt and stand out more?

I'm going to get the Prestige package with S-Line and Nav.

Can't go wrong either way, IMO. One shows more dark dirt, the other shows the light dirt. Both look great on the B8.

Ibis White and Phantom Black are the best colors. Personally, I'd go with Ibis.

I'm usually a huge fan of black cars, but I'd say that you should go for Ibis if you're looking to catch so looks. The black B8 is quite understated, I think the white looks just as great and is more noticable.

Does the B8 have a Ti pkg similar to the B7? If so Ibis with Ti FTW.

Neither. I have phantom black on my other Audi and is really a pain in the butt to keep clean. It look fantastic when it is clean but that's probably only 1 day in a week. As for white, I am getting a bit sick of it personally because everyone all of a sudden want a white car.

Looking at a B8 in March myself..... Currently have Ibis, love the phantom black (but based on past experience I don't think I can buy a black car again).

Considering either Quartz gray or Monza Silver (due to only being available on S-Line) this time around......

No, nothing like that yet. Probably for the next model year.

Same "problem" for me. White or Black. There is a white S-line available but it has too much unneeded options. For a new one 4 to 5 months waiting. Black also looks very sexy ... still thinking about it.

Depends on your plans. White looks great when you mod the car, but if you don't it just looks plain IMO. Black is classier, but it doesn't show off the lines of the car as much.

That was the dilema I was facing! I ended up ordering the Phantom Black after seeing a brilliant black with the 18" sport...

I ordered a ibis white on black avant. Almost bought a beautiful '08 with that color scheme, but the price just wasnt right. So when I got an invoice deal on the '09, I already knew exactly what I wanted.

On a side note, I wouldnt count on it arriving on time. Ordered mine Sept 1st. Computer originally said it was going to show up Nov. 29th. Then it was December 23rd. Now its January 4th. I was planning on taking it for a snowboarding road trip this christmas but now that isnt gonna happen.

My friend is having this dilemma as well, and shes picking out the car tomorow.
How do you guys think an ibis white b8 with the tan interior along with carbon fiber trim overlay would look? She isn't a fan of the wood that comes with it and neither am I, but I'm rather skeptical on how a dark texture such as carbon fiber would look in a tan interior. Suggestions?

My B7 is in Phantom Black, and when properly washed, looks absofrickinlutely amazing in bright sunlight. That's my vote.

I think the CF would clash terribly with the beige interior.
