Got into a bit of a fender bender this week and am getting a new hood for my TT. Need to get it painted but don't know any good paint shops here in San Diego...anyone in the immediate area have recommendations?

    Re: reputable paint shop?

I have been really impressed with La Mesa Paint and Body. Been there twice. Once to have my OEM Rear Lip Spoiler painted and mounted. Again for a rear bumper when I was involved in a hit and run. He does good, thorough work.

Amatos Autobody...ask for chris amato...they do all the high end stuff here in SD. Picked up my car last week and their was a Ferrari 612 and Ferrari 599 getting their bumpers re-done.

GL & tell him Brandon with the black S4 sent ya.

Chapparone Auto Body. They only painted my front Bumper but they did a great job matching the paint on a uncommon pearl color.

    Amato's is pretty darn expensive.

I've heard good things about Chapparone as well.

    Re: reputable paint shop?

second the Amato's recommendation. They do AWESOME work and worth the cost. Why skimp out on your paint and body work?? I am bias since I know the owner and manager of the shop.
