orlyy? There aren't that many CVT BT cars because they are claimed weaker. There is ONE person that I remember on this board that actually did it, but never heard from him again. Your best bet, is probably to stay where you are if you want to maintain its reliability with the tranny. But then again, you have people like me and quite a few others that run it anyways on our tiptronics...Good Luck

Ecode did a GTRS CVT, I believe it was the Vorsteiner guy's car, silver car with a ton of custom CF accents. From what I heard it blew the tranny a few weeks later, with even a tweaked file to limit the torque. For CVT, I wouldnt go past 1/1+ unless you have 4-5k on standby to replace the tranny when it goes

I think going BT on a fwd B6 gets you to a point where you have a bit too much power to use it effectively on the track, but i suppose it's ok for straight line.

    Re: b6 big turbo upgrade

cvt and tiptronic are two different transmissions, "cvt with tip" is like saying "manual with cvt".

and yeah, don't change the turbo if you have a CVT unless you have $8000 for a new transmission.
