Audizine forum newbie

Hi guys,

Ive been on the vortex for years and finally joined up here. After checking out the forums I dont know why I didnt join earlier. There is significantly more technical knowledge on here compared to the vortex, especially in the S/RS forum....not to mention some sick projects.

Anyway, I'm the second owner of my S which I picked up bone stock in the summer of '04 with 62,xxx on the clock. It's an '00 6sp and currently has around 108,xxx on it.

This is the first mod i bought for this car because i thought the stock suspension was absolutely terrible....even on the highway let alone at an autox.


'05 season stage 2: giac-x/asp exhaust, baileys dvs, h&r coils, zimmermann rotors/mintex red pads, awe boost guage, pirelli rubber.

front and rear h-sport sways are going on this winter as well as stoptech slotted rotors and ss lines on all fours and some axxis pads. i thought stage 3 was ridiculous after riding in a stage 3 car once. but i would probably bring my helmet and motorcycle leathers/armor along if one of you guys gave me a ride in one of your gt setups. insane!

i was just on the neuspeed website earlier; the last thing i bought from them was the short shifter for my integra in like, 2002. I was intrigued by the wheels and wondered how they would look on a B5. yours look sick, esp with the drop

How do you normally place in the AutoX? I'm debating on running my S4, but is just that I'm actually doing pretty good in my wife's Mazda3 (in it's class).

How do you normally place in the AutoX? I'm debating on running my S4, but is just that I'm actually doing pretty good in my wife's Mazda3 (in it's class).

Well I run in STU with a usual crowd of STi's and EVO's but its hard to say because everybody cheats on boost...none of the JDM guys will ever tell me how much power they are running. Technically all of the cars in STU are supposed to run stock boost but nobody does. And nobody in STU wants to go up to Street Prepared. I've won the class once and usually finish within 5% of the top time. I am usually about 15%+ off of the overall pace the Street Mod guys set. It does ok with the mods....can usually set better times than a stock e46 M3s or ST e36 M3s, etc. Ive found I tend to get better times on longer sweeper courses than tight short ones with chicanes. You run your 3 in stock?

they are already cracking around the drilled holes. I dont think i would get anything other than slotted rotors again unless they were 2 piece BBK brembos or equivalent with actual weight savings.

Dude I want one of those so bad. 4:1 rear would be sweet on those tight courses. But Im gonna try out that significantly stiffer h-sport rear sway to see if I can correct my understeer. You guys can see how much body roll there is in the pics. Its ridic at times. Those michelins are sticky as hell though.

I ran the 3 with the craptastic OEM tires in novice (it's an automatic) and got top place in all 3 autox's. I would have placed 3 or 4th in the street tire class and 2nd or 3rd in the stock class (damn mini's!!!). I only ran like 1/4 of a season and they already told me that I can't run a full novice season because I'm too fast for a novice LOL. I have only ran 5 autox's in my life (2 of em over 5 years ago in an FD RX7).
