    KO3 rebuild kit?

    i was wondering how much these kits go for and mainly where i can find them. i've been to plenty of websites and have had no luck? Also if anyone knows the going rate for these that would be appreciated also. "m trying to decided if i should buy K03's from somone i know for 500 that have been rebuilt already and are ready to install.

    $500 is a pretty good price provided someone who knows what they are doing did the work.

    ebay is $40 for a rebuild kit, online stores are $50, the stores come with more stuff.

    Its easy to rebuild yourself, mark off the oreintation of the hot and cold sides to the middle part, whatever its called, then score a mark on the cold side turbine and shaft so you can put it back together the right way for the balance, unbolt the shaft (its left hand threaded) and replace all the guts and use engine assembly lube so it does not go together dry

    only $50? wow.. I was thinking it would have been more like $200 per turbo. Don't know why.. That's interesting to know it's really that cheap.
