Installed BUT do I have problem?

Installed my RNS-E but I noticed that even when I turn off my RNS-E (press and hold the volume knob) the speakers still "hiss"! Usually that only happends when the BOSE Symp II was on, and when it turned off it was quite.. Is this normal?

This is normal. Sit in the car, hold the key in your hands and lock the doors with the remote. After a few minutes the RNS-E will go from standby into deep sleep (or power off) and the hissing should stop. If the hissing doesn't stop after 30 minutes or so somehting is wrong with the coding of the RNS-E or the wiring adapter used to install it.

ill have to do that... I was just worried my battery would like die, or the speakers would break! Thanks!
