Opened up my hood to check some things and noticed a like grinding/buzzing sound. Thought it was my turbo so I revved my car up but the sound didnt increase and not from the turbo, followed the sound to the last coilpack (AEB 1.8t). This was after a 55 mile trip back from college going 70mph cruise control. So do coilpacks make noise before they go bad or what?

Anything electrical can make that noise. Check the wiring. As in checking, I mean just fiddling them a little. Yeah, sounds dumb. But this is simple electronics things. Make sure there is good contact on the ground to the valve cover.
