I'm not sure if this has been posted before but this is a nice break down of all the RS4's in the country. Only 1,948 were made from 2006 - 2008. Mine is very rare by these numbers

It's not complete. You gotta submit your car for entry and I'm sure that many owners have yet to do this. I haven't done it and I got a Sprint Blue/Titanium pkg that I picked up back in March.

I know of 2 RS4's in my town, one belongs to a friend of mine and one some guy with a small house. Only one is listed, and not my friend's RS4 cab. I assume it was because he had it shipped from a dealer in NJ. Would this cause it to not be registered to the current location?

Also, what do those 4 red RS4 Cabs look like? Is it a red cloth top?

actually, a 2 day old cl63 sideswipe/ t-boned me into a few trees and a subaru....... the crazy thing is that the damn bastard ran. I was really pissed off since I loved my RS4. I saw that the cl63 has paper plates and a dealer frame plate.... went to dealer but they couldn't release any information. SO took matters into my own hands and called every mercedes certified body shop and asked if they had a new cl63 (only 3 in my city at that time) with damage to the front passenger side. Found the bastard and the subie driver and I sued him for a hefty amount. Unfortunately, I had to get a new RS4 before I moved to Canada, so I bought my car just 2 weeks before the 08's came out.... but I was surprised how well the RS4 held up. One of the safest cars around!

but yeah, Houston Police Department is a joke.... Hell, Texas law is anarchy. But the lawsuit helped pay my debt from my previous RS4, and now I own my current RS4. I'm on;y in NS temporarily... I'll be going back home (or elsewhere) in 2 or so years.

what about S4's? how rare are they in the US...? production numbers? I have only seen 2 total anywhere in Northeast Florida... one B5 Avant, and one B7...

check out the Northeast. I'll usually see one per day...sometimes more.

No doubt the RUF is a darker shade than mine, funny they call it Viper Green...

Actually the list was established from an inside audi source that sparkhill had. There was never a need to register your car. If it was delivered into the us, until sparkhill lost his source, he knew about it and it was on the list. Mine is, and I never contacted him for it to be put on there.

same color, seen it in person parked next to a GT3 in viper green... just looks darker in the photos. Either way, still a sweet color!
