front plate tickets

How many of you have gotten tickets for no front plate? whats the fine?

Did you get one or are you just inquiring. I was going to leave mine off too since I put on my kit but I chickened out and just mounted it. I also just got my new mount for my license that will be stealth.

I've driven around with a Euro plate, no safety stickers and no registration for the past couple months. So far no problems. But I live on North Shore and rarely go into town.

In Nevada if you dont have the bracket then you dont need the plate. I did take the front plates off of my pickup and got a ticket because the holes were still in the bumper though.

^^ I love that law. All my cars I had never had a front lic plate. NV all the way. I just took of my LV plates the other day it said "S4"lol.

Actually both my brother and dad's vette's don't have front plates because they didn't come with mounts from the factory/dealer. Neither of them have been pulled over for no front plate. My boss also has a vette and he also has never gotten pulled over.

Choad, is it really that bad? I am there alot for work and I never get a ticket. I park in that side lot next to the zoo. I have CA tags though..

No kidding! I pick up my girl from Waikiki atleast 4 nights a week and atleast every other time I'm there, someone around me is getting pulled over. They are brutal down there!

Yup I got busted numerous of times for no front plate on my previous audi. It's $77. If you're gonna go thru waikiki w/o a front plate stay in the middle lane and hope that you drive straight thru and don't have to stop for lights, because once a rookie spots you he will tell you to pull on the side and then inspect your car to give you recon tickets for other mods on your car.
