Unbelievable find in Loaner!
So I drop off my car for a few issues to be repaired and requested a loaner car. Loaner car is out front and is a 2007 A4 with about 20,000 miles. I am handed the keys, and there is no walk through/around the car. I get in the car and don't pay much attention to it, except while driving home I notice extreme rattling from the windshield. I get home and decide to look around the car to see if anything else is wrong, and of course there is.
The back bumper looks like it was backed into something (nothing serious, just small scraps & light indentation.
Small scuff on side door.
I call the dealer to tell them so they know it wasn't me and I wasn't responsible. I ask if they look at the cars between customers and they say "Sometimes." He told me not to worry and they would look at it when my car was done.
*The Most Shocking Part!......
I look in the center console to put my phone in it and I find not one, but two of the previous temporary registration loaner agreements from previous customers.
It contains the following:
Their addresses, Names, Phone, Credit Card numbers, insurance agents, Signature and even the numbers on the back of the credit cards.
That is shocking and unbelievable that service wouldn't take these out of the cars. Can you say ID fraud? What if someone dishonest got the car after these people, could you imagine what could happen.
I plan on talking to the manager; I just don't know how I should go about it, should I call the people? I think this is a fairly serious situation, and is obvious that they aren't being responsible with the loaners and customers privacy.
Thanks
