I just purchased a 2004 S4 i am looking to lower the car, im not looking to get coilovers cuz i dont really adjust my height settings, i see that they make eibach springs and h&r springs and tein springs and they make koni shocks and bilstein, i wanted to get a good idea of what the majority of ppl are going with

    Re: Springs and shocks

Coilovers are the best option because you can dial-in the settings to your specifications. If you decide on springs & shocks you're stuck with the ride that you get... be it good or bad ... too high or too low.

Search the classified to find some good deals.

eibach has no application for s4s. Vogtland and H&R are your spring options and I think Konis are your shock option.
