    wtf? Dipped headlight?

Ok so i got the "right dipped headlight" warning on my information center, and when i got that warning both of my headlights were fine. I got out of the car to make sure and yep, both headlights are in perfect working order.

It wasn't raining when i got the warning, i didn't hit any huge pothole, i was going probably 10 mph in a parking lot about to pull into a parking space. I'm confused because i got the warning once, and it hasn't come back. It was on for about 5 seconds and then it went away. Just a faulty warning?

Happens to me about once a week too. My passenger side headlight has a slight flicker to it too, I'm guessing it's on its way out sometime soon.

I've gotten it before. Check the conenction to the back of the headlight; in my case the connection was a bit loose. Since then its been fine

    Re: wtf? Dipped headlight?

Hmmm, maybe mine will be going out soon. Oh well, if it does that gives me an excuse to get some new HID's all together. I think i have the stock ones now, so i'll probably upgrade to 6k or 8k. I want them to look more purple than blue though.

But it's actually weird because this warning came on last week sometime and it hasn't come on since, i've also noticed no flickering of any kind. It's been kinda foggy out for the last couple days so it's pretty easy to tell. Although i did learn my headlights are in a cross pattern...

i got it once. before i fixed the o-rings on my s4 headlights i had severe condensation I assume the moisture caused a short or some safety thing. it was fine once everything dried out and no problems since.

    Re: wtf? Dipped headlight?

I haven't noticed any condensation in the headlight either. The only odd thing i've noticed is that today i was driving behind someone and my left headlight reflected pretty purple/bluish like normal and the reflection of the right headlight was almost the same color as my yellow foglights. But i'm thinking this is just a product of the lighting outside or something. But this is the only time i've ever seen the headlights completely different colors. They're usually the same.

    same exact thing here.

and the other night my left HID went out completely and wouldn't come back on. i had to drive 20 miles home with the high beams on as to not get pulled over. got flashed like 15 times haha!

and when i pulled into my driveway, i turned the lighs off, and the lights flashed off then on again and the left light started to work again and has not given me trouble like that again...

    theres stuff like this

that will help stop the flickering if you put a coat on the bulb connections before plugging them in
