How to get wires from the engine bay to the cabin? A4 B7

Has anyone managed to find a route for an extra wire to go between the engine bay and the cabin?

I can't seem to find an obvious route - any advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Hi, there are two ways:

    1. remove wipers, than remove plastic under windshield. On driver side is plastic shield with four bolts. Under it are all wires going from engine to cabin.

    2. simplier: on passenger side from engine - there are 3 rubber rings. Smallest one goes nearest to air condition pipeing. Follow them and you are in the cabin. You can also put passenger glow department out and it would be much faster and easier.

there should be some rubber grommets above. The steering column. You can see them from both sides of the firewall.

look at the 2nd post...that is the easiest way to bring wires/tubes between the firewall, the wiper can be a pain so take ur time....
