    smoke coming from oil cap...?

    I started my car up yesterday morning and let it idle for about 10 minutes. After pulling it out of the garage I saw a small amount of smoke coming from my drivers side wheel well. I popped the hood and it looked like it was coming from the oil cap. there wasnt alot of smoke so i had a hard time telling where it was coming from. Also it smelled like burnt rubber. Has anyone ever expierenced anything like this? Also has anyone smelled their dip stick recentley? Mine smells like gas. is that normal?

    coolant reservoir tank is not leaking but i have been smelling coolant for the past 3 weeks but my levels are staying good in the tank

    Are you getting any leaking on the floor underneath your car?

    leaking fluids + hot engine = smoke.

    Nope nothing on the floor. I always check to see if there is anything on the floor. FYI i do have a bad aux water pump thats needs to be replaced
