The lights are almost identical. The white car (above) is a wagon and the blue one is a sedan...

The white car is a wagon and the blue car is a sedan, so the lights are different. We are offering either version.

Yeah, not cheap. Most of the LED conversions (except A3) are in the 800-1200 range.

Guys these ref are the ref for the S4 rear LED taillights.

100% sure of this.

But they are different if its a sedan or an AVANT.... thats why this created the confusion.

It is not know yet if there is a need of adaptators when you already have the front Xenon/LEF lights....

I ordered my set here in Belgium (using a S4 AVANT chassis number) so that's why I am sure the ref are from a S4 B8.

We have ordered a set of these to begin evaluation... the adapters are going to be required because these will certainly NOT be P-n-P. There may be a new control module required as well...

allready have a set here at home, and apparantly all you need is an 'adapter' that you can order at Audi self

will go and order it tommorrow and post the part number here, might be helpful to some

lights will be installed last week of februari when the car is delivered.. will post results and pics ;)

Its far from that easy. a lot of people tried it and it deos not work. other modules have to be changed and coded, adn no-one so far made it work... we all know it will be do-able at some stage, but unless somethign has changed not yet.

Costs about 1000 Euro (Lights, control Unit of S4, programming costs)

What it's the solution to upgrade Audi A4 B8 to LED tail lights ?

1.Must to change BCM2 modul or not ?

2.Must to recode the existing BCM2 or not?

3.Must to put resistors and to cut wires to "cheat" the car computer ?

How to make this upgrade to LED tail lights ?

I just need to change conenctors with that ( 3B0972705 and 8K0973703E ) , and to repinning them.

But i need an adapter, something , what Kufatec made it.

What's whith this adapter? What do this? How it looks like ?
What's the purpose for this adapter?

Anyone have bought this LED tail lights kit from OEMpl.us or from Kufatec to tell us, which adapter they give it?

Just to make sure, you're talking about the white avant at the top of this page? This one:
If so they might very well be S4-rears, only the middle row shining might be brake lights perhaps?

They are Original Audi LEDs - I think there are only S4-leds available at the moment - so it must be those.

Different programming is required for the USA cars. That kit is designed for EU-market only. Watch Kufatec.com for an update with the S4 LED...

They had a sedan with the LEDs on at Kufatec - so yes the sedan kit is also ready, and have been so for the past three weeks.

Kufatec installed/fitted my LEDs.

On the sedan it should be easier to fit because no extra cable need to be drawn.
