    Pic request: Neuspeed Race springs

I tried doing a search for them but couldnt find anything. Im in the market for some lowering springs, i want coilovers but i cant afford them now that i have to replace some other things on my car unfortunatly. However i would like some feedback on them now, i do like the H&R sports but i just dont think they're low enough. They will be going on my USP, im rockin the 18's now but am looking to get the 19x9 RS6 reps, putting 245's on them will give about the right amount of stretch so it wont rub, from what i can tell....hopefully.

    thanks

If I could go back I would have done sports, the car is just a tad bit low with the bodykit on.

I know this isn't what you want to hear but save and buy coils. For the price of good springs and shocks you could spend a couple hundred more and get what you really wanted in the first place.

for a couple hundred more i dont think i can get some nice coilovers, the good ones are bout a grand, and the springs are only 260 shipped?

Re: Pic request: Neuspeed Race springs

I was saying a couple hundred more than springs and shocks. If you are doing springs I highly suggest getting shocks. I got my koni coils for just over 900 shipped new. I ran springs in my jetta with no problems, but if you truly want coils its worth the extra money imo.

Too low, and your suspension cannot properly function/absorb road bumps.

Quite a few folks have removed their Neuspeed Race springs, after finding them too harsh a ride. You see'm in the classifieds quite often...

Coils are the ideal setup, as you can lower them for show, and adjust'm back up to actually drive on roads with them.

sooner or later your shocks will be shot if you dont replace them. If you do a shock and spring combo, you look to pay about 500 or 600.

My car handles absolutely fantastic with 19", H&R sports, and a rs4 rear sway.

I just wish the the h&r sport were about 1/2" lower in the front.....I would have a BIG smile on my face then

yeah neuspeed race is only made for the stock bumper.
    Way too low.
I had my Reiger on Neuspeed race and I couldn't drive the car.

I've got Neuspeed Sport and I'm very happy with them for the almost 2 years they've been on. Ride quality could be better but thats normal for lowering springs. I'm on stock shocks now and will need to upgrade soon.

i think i might bite the bullit and try out the new v-maxx coils, they dont have the best rep. but hopefully they're new product will be much better.

I would definitely shoot for the Vmaxx......it cant be too hard to engineer a simple coilover....
