Avon tyres are CRAP! anyone running them?

I have a set of wheels that included 4 Avon brand tyres and my God they are CRAP! I sent 1 set back to Tire Rack and I got a "few" bucks back due the inside sidewall crumbling apart. Now my rear tires are doing the same thing! I already suffered 1 blow out at 70 MPH and I'm scared my rears will blow out as well!!!

These tire have always had proper inflation so its not a problem with the air pressure, they just plan suck!! No wonder they are discontinued from Tire Rack! Ugh I'm SOOOOOO pissed right now since I just bought these tires in Febuary of 2008 and they are already 5hit! Now I'm going to have to shell out another $400 for 2 more rear tires.

i own some avon techs as well in 19's. theyve held up better than any of my 18's. traction could be better though. ive never owned tires for a full year like i have these, i got them in february as well when they were like $95 a tire

They are total crap...I would send them back to tire rack but havent made a decison on if I will. I honestly cannot afford paying 400 bones right now on 2 tires. I just forked over 400 on 2 fronts like 2 months ago.

I think Tire Rack should have Avon help comp me for 2 more tires...when u call Avon, they route the call right to Tire Rack..grrrr!
