so i installed my forge splitter today and it only took me me like 10 minutes to bust the clamps off with a screwdriver and plyers. I dont know how people have such a hard time, i did it on my garage floor with the car on jackstands. I think the unit is a nice setup but its kind of quiet, hopefully it gets a little louder after i get chipped!

I think it all depends on how the clamps are oriented, because how mine were, I couldn't get my hand + a screw driver in a position to move anything. Ended up having to have mine Dremeled off. Definitely post a sound clip after you get chipped.

I have the same on mine. It gets much more noticeable once its chipped. You can also adjust it to get more sound.

    Re: forge splitter

Twist the top of the splitter. It is there to fine tune the valve itself but to be honest I found it runs the same no matter where you put it. Just guess and check. I think I had mine set 11 clicks clockwise from all the way open.

They're def not the loudest BOV, but do you really want to draw all that attention? Maybe, maybe not.
I like mine BECAUSE its not that loud...lol. I still get the attention of every retard driving a PepBoys modded car

Wait until your chipped. It'll get louder. Your only blowing boost @ 8-9 PSI.
