    Question Polishing cylinder walls

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Since I've got my head off I found a bit of build up on the top of the cylinders and walls. I was wondering what the process is for polishing the walls and cylinder tops?

Someone else mention getting the valve slots machined smooth. Is this necessary?

Anything else I should do while the head is removed?

the walls should be cross hatched with a ball hone, the other stuff you might have to take to a machine shop.
