Converting my crappy 99 to S4 skirts...?

I can't seem to locate any solid information on this.. my 99 has nasty unpainted sideskirts. The bottom of my doors have the little plastic piece on them that is always pulling off and gathering water & salt (because rust is awesome!)

I intend to buy some used S4 skirts (and bumpers but I don't think that is relevant now) and I can tell visually that A4s and S4s differ in more ways than just the actual sideskirt. Is that plastic piece at the bottom of the door nonexistent on the S4?

I'm worried that they aren't, and when I pull mine off I'll find out that there are a bunch of holes I can't patch up and the plastic piece won't go well with the S4 skirt.

If anybody else is confused... imagine how bad I'm confused.

Hmm.. that's not the news I wanted to hear. So does anybody have a pic of those still on [painted] as well as S4 skirts?

I got sick of mine this weekend and ripped them off, ground the studs down and painted over.

I was REALLY confused when I was in the same shoes as you. But once you get down and take a good loook at everything, its easy. There is nothing underneath that "undercoating" on the body, so the skirts just go right over that.
