To all,
I understand that historically intakes have not made power. However, the Carbonio is a little bit different in that it well, it does make power.
Most intake designs you guys have been used to are hot air intakes that get hot engine bay air and typically only provide improved throttle response.
I've also seen people talk about the oem air inlet being a restriction. This is not true. The leading edge of the car where the hood meets the grille is the highest pressure area of airflow across the car and believe it or not, the grille opening is designed by Audi to be a somewhat ideal opening that due to the high pressure zone and opening design pulls the coolest, freshest and most readily available air from anywhere on the vehicle.
The Carbonio CF Airbox makes its gains through increased volume of available air at throttle tip in for better throttle response, additional insulation through the use of CF over the plastic of the oem airbox to keep the air cooler and through the use of a high flow air filter.
This is APR btw, if doesn't provide gains, we don't sell it. If it isn't properly engineered, we don't sell it.

Denser air coming in must result in more power being made, no?
