well its a nice wheel, and for a great price.. so obviously a lot of people are going to buy it.. isnt that the whole point for the manufacurers? .. i hardly think that makes its played out.. maybe in 1-2 years if the forum is over flowing with those wheels you MAY being to start that argument of it being played out. but even then i probably wouldnt give them that label

if you read my post correctly i said they are going to get played out, not that they already are. and when they do i will be switching wheel agian, just exactly what happened with my OZ's but next illbe sure to get something no one else would even think of....

Tomorrow will be one week since I got mine but between, my cold, the Black Friday shopping, the set up of my new home theater I havent had a chance to mount mine on the car.

Mine came with the VMR caps and I kind of like those caps more than the Audi ones.

These wheels are sick - congrats on your purchase. What tires did you put on?

A4 cab- congrats to you too, the tires are Yokohama S-Drives (235/35/19) and so far they seem really nice only the tiniest bit noisier than stock, granted I only drove the car for a half hour but they seem pretty good.

just got mine on today too... matte black with 235/35/19 falkin fk452 on ibis white with 25" drop. looks so sick in person. if i had a black car, i def would've gotten gunmetal or aluminum... your car looks sick.

i had titanium rims prior with 10mm and 12mm spacers and they didn't rub at all.... with these rims, it rubs a bit on big dips with all four tires and rims in the back seat and trunk. hopefully they don't rub without em

Yea I went with the gunmetal to have some contrast with the black car, so I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around.

i'll definitely post up pics soon. i'm getting my rear diffuser and side markers painted hopefully this week and i'll take pics after. if you wanna see what matte black on ibis looks like... there's a guy who posted recently with that setup.. i forget his username. he powdercoated his silver vmrs.. but it looks the same. also, rpmfoundation has the gunmetal on his ibis and he should be posting up pics soon too

I think Vorsprung's suspension is the stock one.
I have the 2005.5 OEM sport suspension and I can barely squeeze two fingers between the tire and fender.

I have to say with sport suspension and 245/35/19 they look awesome. I have Zero rubbing, and it looks so much better than 235 series which i exchanged. I will be posting some shots after photoshoot on Saturday. -

from VMR they weigh "25 lbs" i perasonally think its a little more

I just got the Stasis Touring suspension (not coilovers/adjustable), and I think it's the perfect drop; it's near OEM sport suspension, but I personally think it's a bit lower. If you don't plan on tracking the car, it's a much better/more affordable option than the Street Sport setup or comparable coilover package.

I'm curious, how is the ride quality w/ those 19's? Now that I have a drop, I am ready for some, and dont hate me Ih8OEM (lol), but I will probably get the silver 710's. I've been eyeing them for a while now, and I think they'll go extremely well w/ a dolphin grey non-Ti package. I haven't made up my mind yet; trying to decide if I want cheaper replicas or an investment in forged wheels from Stasis that may last a bit longer.

Congrats on some sexy wheels, re-post when you get it dropped!

EDIT: Also, maybe throwing some light smoked tint on those tails will create a nice look/theme!
