Picked up an Euro RS4 steering wheel this weekend....(pic)

Got it for a good price, which helped justify buying it during a recession . Now it just needs to get installed. It feels great while holding it in my hands and making vroom vroom noises, so I imagine it'll feel even better when its attached to the car .

Huh? The thing (in the center of the wheel) with the rings is the airbag. If you look, you can see that it says "AIRBAG" underneath the silver ring....



And Dylan, the airbag is just sitting there, so it evidently wasn't straight. I tried to eyeball it, but failed. The whole center section spins around in there, so I just need to turn it the other way. When it gets hooked up it'll be straight. I'm too OCD for it not to be

Yeah, the bag is attached to the cover. I'm not sure if the two are able to be separated, and I'm not going to try and find out, b/c with my luck I would damage tha airbag in the process.

Yeah. It was a great price for it; they usually command at least $200 more than what he was asking (or at least that's what I've seen previous units). Well worth the money imo.

I'm actually having a friend do the install, as he's done most of the installs in cars in our area. Since it's something that involves an airbag, I'd rather leave it up to someone who knows what he's doing. Plus we're going to see if there is a remote chance we can make the switches work.
