yes, I did search, couldnt find a single thread on the 2.8 PCV system. From what I gather from the 1.8t threads you want to remove the PCV puck valve which is in line on the hose which runs to the TB and stops the back flow of intake air into the crank cases. I just want to verify that I understand this correctly. I want to splice into that hose, run a line to the catch can and then back to the TB right?
