Will a B5 SB Clutch fit the 6 speed?

I have a stage 3 Southbend clutch fitted to my old 2000 1.8Tq and need to know if it will fit my B6 1.8Tq 6 speed. I had a look on SB site and it shows the same part number from 97-05 but I need this confirmed before I sell it so that I can keep it.

Yeah I believe so. You might want to wait for some more answers before you go ahead and do it, as I'm not sure. But I do think so.

I think things are the same.

Why? I have a 1999 2.8 trans in my B6 and my B6 clutch and OEM DM flywheel and things are fine.

Pretty sure the flywheel, clutch and bellhousings are the same so you shouldn't have any worries.

Great now thats saved me even more cash.

Moving from a B to B6 you think they are the same but then Audi just does a little something just to remind you they are not.
