Rim job

Hey guys, so I bought new 18" BBS RC's for my Black 99.5 A4, but two of the wheels were curb rashed pretty bad. I have sanded them down, and bondo'd the damages. They're all smooth now, as well as primed, but now im wondering.... What color?

Im also going to be lowering the car shortly, and getting exhaust... Some have told me go Black on Black, and some have told me go silver... What do you guys think? I went over to Shucks, and they have a graphite too...

Im kinda liking the gold idea, but not really sure how it would look like on black... Im gonna try to do some photoshop/research.

NorCal, I like the idea a lot, but a few people told me since my car is already black, it would make the rims to cheap from far away... :( I might do it though.

they're 18x8.5 et32. They'll fit nicely :) if u want we can throw one of my wheels on to see if u like the black. Personally a nice satin silver is my choice!

Yeah. There is no lip, so when you make a faux lip by making it a contrasting color to the face of the wheel it looks really terrible.

Here is my opinion... How about just keeping it the way it is? Doing all that crap is expensive unless you DIY -- then you run the chance of it peeling, flaking, or chipping like most DIY wheel jobs do.

If you want you can always remove them and do it if you really don't like it how it is. Not having them done leaves you more money for more useful mods. :)

Yeah but its in a position where it has to be done... The bondo is already in, and so is the primer... The wheels were scrapped bad enough to where it would bother me...

Im thinking of doing gunmetal, or a graphite color thats a little darker than gunmetal...
