IMO, the VMR's look more aggressive.

    Re: Quality/Design - B7 RS4 REPS: VMR .vs. ALLOY R' US

Our onyx-black finish is completely different from a Gloss Black finish. The Onyx is a dark, highly reflective metallic coating that is applies in a similar manner to powder coating. This finish is quite expensive, and that's why it's $100 more than our hyper-silver or Gunmetal wheels.

We have our new flat black finish wheels available right now as well.

I can't comment on the quality or strength of the other wheels, but all our wheels not just meet, but surpass JWL and TUV specifications. Our wheels also have the most concavity, BBK-friendly, designed from the ground up, and produced at an ISO9001 certified factory that also makes wheels for several high end tuners and auto manufacturers, not just replicated off a picture and produced by the lowest bidder.

I love my VMR wheels but........

Alloy R US' holiday special of 18" RS4 replicas for $499 shipped would be hard for me to ignore if I was in the market for wheels.

We don't proclaim ourselves to be the cheapest out there, and if that was our goal, there would be a variety of things we can do to achieve that goal. As you know, there are many choices that must be made from the R&D level down to manufacturing and customer service. I've come across forums where vendors would basically nit pick the flaws of each others' products to death, but heck, I'd prefer to focus on my own product. Without posting inflaming details, spend some time doing some post-purchase research and you'll realize that you've made the right choice

I will admit that from all the pictures I've seen VMR Reps definitely outshine those from Alloy's R US, so see where you are coming from.
