New to Audi - have questions about CVT

I just picked up a 2008 A4 2.0T CVT, Ibis white, S-line Ti package. It is a 6 month old CPO car with 5015 miles. New sticker was $36,375 and I paid $28,200 plus TTT. I got the CVT because my wife cannot drive a MT. She has a 2008 R32 and we sometimes swap cars. I want to know how far I can safely push the torque without hurting the CVT. Last week I got the GIAC flash. This week I am getting custom exhaust, Carbonio intake box, and RS4 rear sway bar.

Are there any other mods that I should consider? The Ti package seems to have a nice, low suspension from the factory. I have read about the Forge Diverter valve and blow off spacer. Should I do these before the factory ones fail?

    Thanks

First to ask yourself how far do you want?
As you swap car with your wife, can she handle the extra power?

Re: New to Audi - have questions about CVT

I want to get to about 250-260hp and 300 foot pounds of torque. Is it possible to do this with the GIAC chip, exhaust, and Carbonio air intake box?

The wife's car is plenty fun to drive stock even if there are faster cars in it's class. I just did not want to suffer through replacing clutches on a MT while teaching her to drive one. Also, I felt like I got a good deal on the A4. I had a B8 Avant on order but decided to keep the extra $15K in the bank and get the B7 sedan.

Get a full turbo back exhaust and you can to to stage 2.
You should have about ~250-260 WHP and around ~300 Wtq

The car can take it no problem, specially if the software is not aggressive. Just make sure you don't wheel hop it too much ( By too much I mean not at all ) or you will break your cv joints and motor mounts.

Thanks for the input. I just want to make sure I don't destroy my car (but I do want to increase the fun factor).
