    Does anyone have an auto S5? If yes, how do you like it? I never thought I would consider an auto in a car like a S5. I race cars for a living and I'm an instructor at the Audi Sportscar Experience at Infineon, so I get it out of my system everyday by driving R8's, RS4"s, and S5's, but more importantly my wife hates manual. I have not driven the auto so I just wanted to get some input on those who have...

    I have no complaints about the tip S5. Naturally the manual is faster, and funner, but the tip has seen massive improvements over the last few years and works wonderfully. The S5 is a fantasic car either way, you just cant go wrong there

    from a personal standpoint,
    manual all the way.

    But tips are more suitable for men in suits and such :)

    do you think there will ever be a car with a clutch and 6 speed gearbox but also with an automatic mode? i would assume that all these brilliant engineers would have figured out something by now as the manual vs. auto discussion has been going on for quite some time now...

    can't we have both?

    DSG or for audi " S-Tronic" is a computer automated manual gearbox with two clutches instead of a regular manual that has one and we've had it ever since 2004 in the TT 3.2

    iv been thinking the same thing! i wanna be able to work the clutch when theres a nice winding road and i wanna put it in auto when im stuck in rush hour traffic!
