car wont start and the brake is stiff

For somereason the car wont start and when i asked someone to push it the brake pedal got super stiff. the car sounds like its about to start but it wont..i just had the engine cleaned mabe its something electrical?

It's normal for the brake pedal to firm up like that without the engine running.

Make sure the harness connectors for the injectors and the coilpacks are dry inside. Disconnect and blow out any water. The engine may be flooded now, to clear, hold the gas pedal to the floor while cranking. If that doesn't help, remove the spark plugs, if they are soaking wet with gas, then the engine is flooded with gas. With the coilpacks and injectors unpluged from the power supply, crank the engine for 10 seconds, then reinstall the plugs and try restarting.

engine manegement fuse short out... which plug could be shorting out??

as soon as i plug a new fuse for the engine man. it pops without cranking it. now 2 nights ago i notices that the dome lights dident work when i opend the car. could this be part of a major electrical problem?

Remove the cover of the ECU box at the left end of the plenum, and see if there is any standing water inside the ECU box. If there is, that is likely the cause of the fuse blowing. If there is water in the box, it can drip down onto the Central Electric Control Module and effect the lighting circuits. If the CECM is wet you can remove the module cover and dry the circuit board inside, hopefully that will be the fix.

the 3rd coil pack from the botom was soaked, and when i replaced the fuse the coil burned out. ik check the ecu tomorrow to see if there is water. the car did start and im hoping that the coil is the only problem...

It's probably only the coilpack, If the fuse doesn't blow now, then the ECU box is likely OK.

that's a pretty good price. Buy an extra one to keep as a spare while you're at it

If the coilpacks are not already the "R" version, consider replacing all four.

how can you tell
