from what i read up on, the only difference between the power of these 2 vehicles is their engine control module..for the s6 it basically just comes into the US "chipped" unlike the 4.2 that is slightly held back in power through the ecm..true or false?

wrong. Ecu, intake is two stage as opposed to 3 stage, I believe are different cams as well. Nothing major, but more than just an ecu.

i dont think the intake manifold would be changed that much..i dont think it would result in anymore hp gain because the ones on the 4.2 are plenty..maybe im wrong?

    Re: from 4.2 to s6..true?

if you want the s6 cams, they are about $1000 a piece... so tahts $4k right there, so sell your 4.2 and buy an s6 if u really want that "extra" 40 hp

Man I searched looking for that exact thread last night. I remember reading it before, and wanted to link it. Good find.

I thought the S6 had full aluminum suspension as well?
