Ebay Short Shifter Link?

Hey guys,

I guess ill put the flame suit on for looking into the Ebay Short Shifter, but hey, in college a $25-$35 short shifter is something to be looked into, know what i meen?

I know there was a link that i was directed to when researching the Ebay SS that had it for about $29... i think. I know there are other distributers other than buying straight off Ebay, those are the ones im looking for. Links? Comments? Concerns? I will only buy off of a site that most of you can agree is striaght.

they all are basically the same thing i just went with the first site i could find with the best shipping. just look for the b&m style shifters on there and roll with it. I think they're basically all just the same exact thing

Yea look for the B&M style shifter. I've had mine for almost two years now and i have no complaints. Best $30 spent on the car. Makes shifting much more enjoyable. Just make sure you install it properly.

Same, but i can move my 3rd gear so it looks like its in first :)

gahh...stay away. Yea you might get shorter shifts but after awhile you'll get a lot of slop, and impreciseness that will make you wish you had the stock shifter back on.

Get what you pay for I guess.

01audia4, did you have that problem before you installed the short shifter? because thats...well...really bad. Theres gotta be something wrong with your set up.

Yeah, thats the one i was lookin for guys, now im just lookin for the site that actually makes the B&M mock shifter because i dont think i can buy off ebay because i dont have a paypal. so that link to the manufacturer would be great.

most ebay kits are the same, i'd say save your money and go with the JHM

i got my ebay shifter from ebstores, same one as in your pic. not as smooth as i would like but definitely shorter throws, its a bit notchy after almost 2 yrs. i'll be going jhm sooner or later when i have the coin for it

I have the EB stores version as well. No problems installing it. Just make sure everything is adjusted according to the BM install instructions and you're golden. I added a dab of lube to the pivot ball and it seemed to help as well.

I bought the exact link shown above a while ago and finally installed it last night. Have about 70 miles on the car since installing it yesterday and i love it. Its very smoother and much shorter for throws. Took about 45mins-1hour to install and adjust (i am handy with a ranch, so it might take you more) but so far, im loving it. Just make sure that once you install it, put some grease/lube on the pivot ball and it'll be very smooth.
