    Question regarding load index/tire/wheel

    Hello,

I have a 2009 Audi A4 2.0 quattro (currently running stock 17s) and am looking to upgrade to 19x8.5 wheels (+38 ET). What is the recommended tiresize for this size wheel? Is it 235/35/19? or 245/35/19? Please note that I am looking to lower the car with Eibachs pro kits.

Also, as far load index, a lot of the tires are at "91". Is that OK to run with this setup or should I be looking at a higher load index tire?

    Thanks everyone for your help

    Re: Question regarding load index/tire/wheel

According to Audi, 18" tires must be XL load rated, i would think it would be the same for 19" as well.

    Re: Question regarding load index/tire/wheel

Only size we guarantee is 255/35-19 (XL). the 235/35R19 (XL) BARELY meets load requirements at 36 PSI, and would be more prone to sidewall bubbles or blowouts compared to the 255. 245/35R19 (XL) is better if you have to run a shorter tire, but we'd still recommend 255/35R19 for the least load issues.
