Yesterday i was on a cruise with a couple of buddies. A piece of concrete was laying in the middle of the road. By the time i saw it come out from under my buddys car it was too late. Hit the tire pretty hard and this is the result...
Since i got a flat on the same place a week prior at a rally i had to have the car flatbedded back to my house. I give Audi Roadside an A++++++ for the customer support...
I used audi's jack today to lift the car up and take the wheel off. During all of this the jack failed and my car almost ended up on the floor. Luckily i had another jack (didnt use this i nthe first place because its took high to get under my lowered car) right there to get it back up. The stock jack put a nice little hole through the lower side skirt of my car. It also put a nice nick in the rear door blade.
Is there any chance that Audi will cover the repairs on the skirt and blade due to the jack failure? There was no negligence on our part, the jack was positioned properly on a flat concrete garage floor.
And thats my weekend so far...
