So leaving a Real Salt Lake Game the other night I hit a bump and my oil light comes on luck for me I only live about 3 blocks away. So we park my car and decide to go out we come back and I see a shinny puddle under my baby. To make a long story short there was a whole in the oil pan. Finally got around to fixing it today, wasn't as bad as expected seeing we were forced to do it in a parking lot. Now my question. As to some places said that the bumper had to come off I also got a snub mount we did it with out taking the bumper off and now I was wondering how hard is it to do the snub mount. As to this isn't the best place to work. Do people that have them like the mount.

    Re: oil pan!!!

I did mine but i had to redo the broken oil pan, trans brackets, and motor mounts. doing the radiator and support now, waiting for hoses.
i replaced mine with an o34 mount, except i had to alter the bracket they sent me because it didn't line up to the holes. sooo if you get a o34 mount, see if you can get access to a hydraulic press to fit it on, mine slipped right over the aluminum nub. oh and use some good grease, that helps too.

ok so I finally put oil in it after letter the gasket set and well got some runs in at the bird and now there is a slight tapping sound. I took it for a ride around the parking lot and no boost pressure either. Any ideas about the boost?

I'm sure you've produced a valve tick because it ran with so little oil. It might be more serious, but it's impossible to tell without disassembling the engine. It will either go away in a few days or it wont. I would just be glad I didn't seize the engine or blow a turbo.
