I ran my 1+ setup without an intercooler. You will get heat soaked, but its not that big of a deal imo, if you want more consistent pulls then yes, a intercooler is recommended.

    Re: will i be alright?

I had REVO 1 for a year all stock(except DV). Swapped to REVO 2 (BI File) all stock. Then added Intake, a few months later a TP, and then a AWE FMIC and exhaust at pretty much the same time.
You will feel some heat soak. It's nothing too horible, but enough for you to want it gone (especially during the summer, but I had some during the cold winter months too) and wondering how much better you would be without it.

But if you don't have the money for a FMIC now I wouldn't hesitate to go stg 2 even though it is somewhat de-tuned and heatsoaks a little more than the stage 1 on OEM IC.

All you need with 1+ is new injectors. FMIC isn't an issue with stage 1 or 1+. you should be just fine.

your tuner will most likely dumb down your tune so it won't destroy your motor. So, Get ready to be tuned again after you add on an intercooler, and you'll get more power.
